STITCHED

A little girl,
so innocent, so naïve,
wandered around, places to places,
and found a ball of flame,
   mesmerized by its beauty
          she touched,
reaching out her frail hand
which is now burnt.
Being unaware of the cruel world,
she shed tears of pain and fear,
none came to wipe them,
instead stole her voice.
Soon came no joy nor sorrow;
   everything buried within,
time passed unbothered
  her stitches fell and
      now was forced to express
but no words ever came
only the tears of unheard words;
which none understood.
